What you'll do... 

  • Quality Management: Develops expertise in quality management tools, techniques, and standards. Utilize thorough understanding of quality guidelines to partner with suppliers to eliminate identified defects. Interprets the results of quantitative and statistical tools and explains results to others. Communicates key benefits of a quality and identifies solutions to improve quality.
  • Focused Improvement: Deliver improved efficiencies and loss elimination through improved supplier quality. Illustrates problems, opportunities, and methods for improving supplier quality. Helps evaluate what factors should be addressed. Gathers data for use in the analysis of business processes.
  • Influential Communication: Leverage fact-based data and analytics insights to build a cohesive narrative, form an viewpoint, organize thoughts, and present in a clear, concise, and meaningful way. Demonstrates decision and coordination skills when faced with conflicting or ambiguous inputs. Acts as an advisor to diverse business partners, influencing them to act as needed to move the business forward. Provides timely feedback to others. Seeks, internalizes, and utilizes feedback to make changes.
  • Partnership & Collaboration: Foster a climate of trust and respect with cross functional partners; respond effectively and efficiently to requests. Take a "one team" approach to collaborate and accomplish goals for the business. Partner cross-functionally to deliver successful end to end solutions. 
  • Data Acumen: Leverages data analysis & digital tools to explore complex data. Uses data to influence strategic work, and builds and presents insights. Uses visualization tools to represent data and construct coherent stories to influence decisions.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 2 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area. 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office.
